The Jacksonville Jaguars signed QB C.J. Beathard to the 53-man roster from the Miami Dolphins practice squad the team announced today. The move makes Beathard the third QB on the roster.
Beathard was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round (104th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. He has played in 31 games (13 starts) for San Francisco (2017-20) and Jacksonville (2021-23). Beathard’s career totals include 340 completions for 3,886 yards and 19 touchdowns, including 49 completions for 417 yards and one touchdown in 13 games (one start) for the Jaguars. He has also registered 64 career rushes for 266 yards and four touchdowns.
The move reunites Beathard with the Jaguars after he was released in August with an injury settlement.
