St. Augustine FL — It’s that time of year again, the 29th annual Nights of Lights gets started this Saturday in downtown St. Augustine. The city says the celebrations start at 4 PM with a dance performance in front of City Hall then and the All Star Orchestra will perform at the Plaza de la Constitución at 5:30 PM. Then the big event takes place at 6:30 PM with the lightning of the city’s holiday tree and the canopy of live oak trees around the plaza.
There are several free park-and-ride shuttles offered from various locations. We have those details outlined for you below.
North of downtown:

If you plan on driving to the event, there will be several road closures and restricted parking areas. The city says between Cordova Street and Avenida Menendez along Cathedral Place parking will be prohibited all day and the street will be closed to vehicles between 5 PM and 8 PM. Along King Street between Cordova Street and Avenida Menendez parking is also prohibited and the street will be closed by police for as long as it’s needed to keep the public safe.
Nights of Lights runs through Sunday, January 29th.
