JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update:
The vehicle involved in this incident has been located.
On Feb. 22, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Department responded to a hit-and-run vehicle that hit two people.
The incident happened at 5300 Avenue B where the driver struck the two pedestrians and headed North toward West 45th Street.

One victim suffered fatal injuries and the other victim suffered serious injuries.
JSO investigators identified the vehicle to be a 2019-2023 black Toyota Corolla. The car should have left, front quarter panel damage and missing a driver’s side mirror.
