Orange Park, FL — Parents at Lakeside Junior High School were alerted to a social media threat to the school, which district police said ended up being a hoax.
Clay County District Schools Police and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office learned about the threat late Wednesday.
They investigated and found the student responsible.
The student admitted the threat was a joke.
A social media post from the district police department said the student would be disciplined, but didn’t say exactly how.
